My reaction to the Oscars:

Martin McDonagh is now an Academy Award winning film director, too. I want to have his babies. I mean, the man is thirty-five. He wrote The Beauty Queen of Leenane when he was twenty-six, in 8 days. In the past month or so while I had come to accept that I had missed out on seeing Capote in theatres, I was very disappointed. Luckily, I was wrong. This afternoon Suitemate J discovered it was still playing up in Times Square, and we were off.
